Anyone out there remember when the 13 bus first went to Camperdown gates.
I don't know but am interested.

It was going there in the mid 50's. It was a great run then a tremendous walk through the park, back to the bus and a braw run hame.

Now more details are required in order to reply to such an unusual question. What has made you interested about that now, Ken?

Was Miss Fairweather in my time - 40's/early 50's.
Went in for a wee bag of Lingo or was it Lingfo fiz. Consumed the contents by licking your finger and dipping it into the bag and sucking it off your finger.

Aye, Mrs Wilson. And it was a penny single. 6p for your lunch ticket which could be sold so there was 4p left for sweeties, or whatever.
