Half Yearly Meeting

Postby Dave Dempster » Sun Dec 09, 2007 6:41 pm

I think we should all send an email to the Secretary, Alec Gouick to let him know we consider Thelma has done a brilliant job in managing this "Hack in" situation and getting the Forum reorganized and running again so quickly.

If you are in the Dundee area, tomorrow night, please try to attend the Half yearly meeting.
Ken, thanks to Eoin Mackintosh would be most appreciated.)
Without his support over the past two years we would have no website , far less a forum. When the Forum was hacked, I sent him an email. He came up with a variety of possible forum hosts. I followed his advice, but couldn't work out how to sort out different forums. Within half an hour of receiving my frantic email he had us up and running! He does all this technical stuff for us, free of charge!

I've just checked our website and it looks as if the Hackers have left the forum. I'm not sure whether this is Eoin's work, so we'll continue with this link for the time being. We will, I hope, be linked as in the past, through the forum, but for the time being . . .

Whilst this site is very much appreciated, I do miss the format of our own and it is heartening to find out that we may return some time in the future.
