Thanks to George Stout and a band of willing volunteers all of the School magazines have been scanned for inclusion in the archives . They make fascinating reading!

Wow! That must've been one MAMMOTH task!
I look forward to revisiting some of my own artwork and those of my contemporaries, eg, a scraperboard of the Queen in 1953. I also had the pleasure and, indeed, the honour of printing the 1982 magazine. This included a tribute to popular Douglas Brown, Principal Teacher of Chemistry.

Does that mean we'll be able to read the magazines online?

Unfortunately, I don't think so, Kate. The plan is to have them on the computer in the Archives Room, eventually. Hopefully, we may in the future, have them as part of the MAFPA merchandise, but that's a Committee decision.
If there's anything from the magazines that you'd like to see, contact me and I'll see what I can do, to help. (I'll try to put interesting articles etc on the Home page.)

That is brilliant Thelma. Last time was back in Dundee I asked a couple of booksellers to keep a lookout for Morgan mags but I haven't heard fron anyone. How many editions of the Magazine were composed and printed? Were any composed but not printed?
