It's absolutely miserable here in Carnoustie, tonight - very cold and raining. :( :( :( The dogs will have to make do with a very short walk tonight.

We have snow in Stirling - lying snow, I mean, not just falling snow.

And it`s been a cold day here as well, Sandra. Maybe not snow, but down to 1C during last night and only 3C when I had to rise. Doubt if it ever got above 10C as it is now back down to 6C at 7.30 evening time. Brrrrrrrrr.

Thank goodness the snow didn't last long! I don't like winter.

Last night it reached 0C during the night and was only just 2C when I got up. A little chilly because, believe it or not, no heating on yet, still warm enough inside. After lunch had to use the car but it was warm enough to drive with the windows open.

A cool 20c in the winterless north of New Zealand, with rain and strong wind. Not as bad as Fiji as they have just had a cyclone, The farmers are happy about the rain but if the weather was organised properly surely it would just rain during the night.

I'm sure the poster should be able to delete double posts, but . . . We're on a steep learning curve here.

Woke up to light rain this morning, but a pleasing 7C on the thermo and 67% humidity. Looks like a damp overcast day ahead.
